PastPeep is a YouTube channel about world history and its surprising facts. This policy explains how the PastPeep website (peeppast.dizipeep.com), the PastPeep YouTube channel and the PastPeep Automation application handle data.
Who we are
The PastPeep website and YouTube channel are run by Abbas, the channel's creator, as part of the Peep family of channels alongside DiziPeep. You can reach us at peeppast@dizipeep.com.
This website
- This website does not collect personal data.
- It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds; everything is served from this domain.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this information to identify visitors. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
When you email us
If you write to peeppast@dizipeep.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use this only to read and reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list and do not share your message with anyone. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your request, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
YouTube API Services
The PastPeep channel uses YouTube API Services through PastPeep Automation, a private tool used only by the owner of the PastPeep YouTube channel to publish and manage the channel's own videos. It is not offered to the public.
- It accesses Google user data only for the PastPeep channel account, with the owner's consent.
- It uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API to upload and manage the channel's videos, playlists and comments, and to read the channel's own performance statistics.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared, sold or transferred to third parties.
- Google user data is not used for advertising and is not used to train AI models.
By using or interacting with PastPeep videos and features that rely on YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube comments
Public comments posted on PastPeep videos may be read in order to reply and moderate. Only the public username and comment text are stored, raw comments are deleted after 12 months, and you can ask for your stored data to be deleted by contacting us.
Revoking access
You can revoke any application's access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. To ask us to delete any data we hold about you, email peeppast@dizipeep.com; we will respond within 30 days.
Watching our videos
Our videos are hosted on YouTube. When you watch them, YouTube's own terms and Google's Privacy Policy apply, not this policy.
Children
This website is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
